About the Website

The SGS Website is a WordPress system that uses a simple ‘Gutenberg’ theme ‘BlockBuilder’. This ‘block editing’ theme that allows pages to be constructed as hierarchies of blocks using the visual block editor. No knowledge of HTML is required for most operations.

The Site Dashboard

In order to perform any operations on the web site you need to be logged into the Site Dashboard:

• Visit the home page of the site with ‘wp-admin’ added (https://st-georges-singers.org.uk/wp-admin)
  • You will be presented with a login screen where you enter your credentials supplied by the Webmaster.
• Enter your credentials and you will see the Site Dashboard:

You can select items of the site to manage by clicking the menu on the left-hand side.
